At Beth Or, one can experience original and personally meaningful ceremonies that mark the main events of the life cycle: birth, bar/bat mitzvah , marriage, and death. These ceremonies focus on spiritual ideals. They are occasions for the community to come together to celebrate important occasions in the life of an individual or family. We encourage our members to offer support to each other in times of joy and sorrow.

We observe all life cycle events in a completely egalitarian manner. Everyone is welcome to participate regardless of religious background. Naming ceremonies for both boys and girls, weddings, and funeral or memorial services can be held at Beth Or.
